The Incidence rate has fallen again today in Ayamonte and we are now below that 1000 mark. There were only 3 cases reported in Ayamonte in the last 24 hours so getting close to that desired zero and the rate is now down to 938. Indeed, all the surrounding towns have seen a drop in the incidence rate in the last 24 hours.

The Andalusian Council published a bulletin this afternoon taking into account that the numbers today for Ayamonte are below the 1,000-mark, non-essential businesses will be permitted to open tomorrow Saturday. Ayamonte is now in Phase 4 stage 1 so non-essential businesses will be allowed to open tomorrow until 6pm. Bars and restaurants will also be allowed to open until 6pm. In that same bulletin all alcoholic beverages above 21% Vol must not be sold after 6pm. Shops will still be allowed to sell beer and wine as it is below the percentage volume of alcohol.

This last measure is an attempt to stop people leaving bars at 6pm ad buying alcohol to consume on the streets.

Andalusia has reported 3,097 cases in the last 24 hours. Sevilla with 676 cases was the worst hit province in the last 24 hours, Huelva reported the lowest with 106 followed by Cordoba with 138.

There is some more positive news and that is that 2,311 patients were declared cured.

Sadly, there were 127 more deaths declared today in Andalusia which brings the total number of deaths since the pandemic began in Andalusia to 7,459. Huelva had four more deaths in the last 24 hours bringing the total for the province to 238.

There are currently 3,863 patients in Andalusian hospitals with Covid-19 of which 710 are in intensive care.Today there are 215 people hospitalized in Huelva hospitals of which 31 are in intensive care.
