As we are about to enter phase Zero tomorrow we will need to keep a close eye on how Huelva as a province is evolving and whether we can move to the next phase 1 on May 11th.

The government have announced that any province that wants to move to the next phase must present all their data by this coming Thursday May 7th. Huelva in the last 24 hours has had no new confirmed cases of Covid19, no new hospitalisations, no patient in hospital has been moved into ICU and for the third day in a row no new deaths reported. As long as we continue to progress like this come May 11th we are in phase one. The government also announced that bars and restaurants will be allowed to open up their terraces to 50% capacity in phase 1 and not the 30% as published before.

Tomorrow small businesses will be allowed to open to attend to clients by appointment and in a ratio of one worker to one client. These businesses have also been asked to have a preferential timetable for over 65’s to coincide with the 10.00 to 12.00 and 19.00 to 20.00 slot.

There has been a total of 838 new cases declared today and the total confirmed cases is 217,466. The number of deaths has now reached 25,264. The number of people who have recovered is 118,902

Meanwhile in Andalusia there are 14,287 confirmed cases of which 5,961 have needed hospitalisation and 736 have needed intensive care. As of 21.00 yesterday there are 644 (-47) patients confirmed with Covid-19 in hospital and 142 (-16) of those are in intensive care.

In Andalusia with 6,897 patients recovered, the hospitals are as follows please note that the total of patients hospitalised includes those in intensive care

There have been 1,256 deaths in Andalusia (Malaga 261, Jaen 162, Granada 251, Cordoba 100, Cadiz 135, Seville 255, Almeria 49, Huelva 43). In Seville there are 2,702 cases and 1,161 of those required hospitalization with 145 in intensive care. There have been 255 deaths while 1,025 have recovered.

In Huelva there are 466 cases, No new cases today, 220 have been hospitalized with 30 in intensive care. No new deaths were reported today so the total remains at 43. And even more good news is that 212 have now recovered from the virus.
