This afternoon the Minister for Health, Salvador Illa, announced in what phase each province of Spain will be in this Monday 25th May. All of Spain will now be in either phase one or higher. In Andalusia 6 of the eight provinces will enter phase 2, with Malaga and Granada being the only exceptions and remaining in phase 1.
Phase 2 will bring with it various changes and more freedom here is a summary of what is new in this phase.
- The timetables to do sport and go for walks disappears with the exception of the two slots of 10.00 to 12.00 and 19.00 to 20.00 which will remain reserved for people over 70 and anyone who is high risk in terms of Covid19.
- Groups of people up to 15 now allowed to meet up.
- Bars and restaurants will be allowed to open up their interior spaces to maximum capacity of 40%
- Open-air swimming pools can open to a maximum of 30% capacity.
- Shopping centres and large shops can open limiting the maximum capacity to 40%.
- Beaches can reopen to the public, but each town hall can decide whether swimming is allowed or not.
- Wedding celebrations in the open-air with up to 100 guests and 50 if it is a closed area.
