The President of Andalusia,Juanma Moreno, said today that the Regional government would act clearly and forcefully if risks are detected and will also limit mobility if necessary. The statement came after Andalusia which enters phase three on Monday June 8th with the Andalusian government regaining full powers have decided that travel will be permitted between all eight provinces.

Andalusia is the region with the lowest incidence of Covid19 in the past 14 days. The burden on Andalusian hospitals has been reduced drastically and currently there are only 85 people hospitalised in all of Andalusia and 28 of those are in intensive care. This represents a decrease of 95% when to compared to the peak of the pandemic. President Juanma Morena outlined that although the incidence of Covid19 is low he summoned the entire Andalusian society to continue acting with prudence.

Five regions in total (Andalusia, Aragon, Canary Islands, Galicia and the Basque country) will allow interprovincial travel as they enter phase three. While the remaining regions will have interprovincial travel once they enter the new normality.

In Andalusia, the number of confirmed cases is now 12,788 (+23) of which 6,289(+4) have needed hospitalisation and 773 (+3) have needed intensive care. As of 00.00 today there are 85 (-2) patients confirmed with Covid-19 in hospital and 28 (+0) of those are in intensive care.

In Andalusia with 13,989 (+123) patients recovered, the hospitals are as follows please note that the total of patients hospitalised includes those in intensive care

There have been 1,423 (+0) deaths in Andalusia (Malaga 287 (+0), Jaen 184 (+0) , Granada 287 (+0), Cordoba 117 (+0) , Cadiz 159 (+0), Seville 287 (+0), Almeria 54 (+0) , Huelva 48 (+0). In Seville there are 2,486 cases and 1,207 of those required hospitalization with 151 in intensive care. There have been 287 deaths while 2,784 have recovered.

In Huelva there are 408 cases, two new cases today, 222 have been hospitalized with 30 in intensive care. No new deaths were reported today, so total stays at 48 people. The good news is 471 have recovered from the virus. Yesterday one of the positive cases was a false positive and the total cases has been reduced accordingly.
