The first heatwave of the summer arrives on the second day of summer, this could be a long hot summer. Luckily Ayamonte has over 7km of wide sandy beaches. Ayamonte and Huelva beaches have published guidelines to follow while at the beach.

  • Keep social distance of 2metres
  • Beaches are open from 12.00 to 20.00 with full lifeguard facilities.
  • Parasol to be set 3 metres apart.
  • Parasol must be 6 metres from the waterline.
  • Showers at beach are closed.
  • No ball games.

In Andalusia, the number of confirmed cases is now 12,925 (+9) of which 6,313(+2) have needed hospitalisation and 777 (-0) have needed intensive care. As of 00.00 today there are 45(+1) patients confirmed with Covid-19 in hospital and 9 (-2) of those are in intensive care.

There have been 1,429 (-0) deaths in Andalusia (Malaga 288 (+0), Jaen 187 (+0) , Granada 285 (-0), Cordoba 115 (-0) , Cadiz 165 (+0), Seville 289 (+0), Almeria 53 (-0) , Huelva 48 (+0). In Seville there are 2,499 cases and 1,213 of those required hospitalization with 152 in intensive care. There have been 289 deaths while 2,868 have recovered.

In Huelva there are 407 cases, No new cases today, 222 have been hospitalized with 30 in intensive care. No new deaths were reported today, so total stays at 48 people. The good news is 478 have recovered from the virus.
