This is Ayamonte's main church and houses the "Virgin de las Angustias". Angustias is the patron Saint of Ayamonte with the Festival celebrated each year on September 8th.

Within this Plaza you will find the Casa Grande built in the 18th Century.The Casa Grande which is now owned by the Town Hall is an exhibition centre and library "Jimenez Barberi".

The fish and fresh produce market is open Monday to Saturday in the heart of Ayamonte. Haggle the price for those frresh prawns on a Saturday morning.

This tower which is a military construction was built to defend the coast from possible invasion by pirates. There have been talks recently to reform the structure so exhibitions can be held here.

Isla Canela 18 hole golf course opened in 1994. This Par 72 links course is surrounded by olive trees and the La Marismas.
