Common sense has prevailed and children under 14 years of age will be allowed to go for walks with their parents or guardians from this coming Monday 27th April. The government rectified the previous ruling after public uproar. During today’s press conference Dr Fernando Simon said “It would make no sense that supermarkets become overcrowded” referring to children being brought by their parents to the shops. Dr Simon also went on to clarify that family members going for walks together would not be a major problem of the spread of Covid19 as long as social distancing rules are respected “A family which have been living together during this lockdown period have the same risk of transmission in their home as in a place where they are alone".
