Ayamonte Beach

The Army have today carried out disinfection services in Ayamonte namely at the Lerdo Tejada Nursing Home, Aprosca and Calle Santa Clara. A total of 10 soldiers carried out the disinfection under the orders of Joaquin Sanchez Leon, Chief Lieutenant of the Veterinary service in Camposoto training school, in San Fernando,Cadiz. The Mayor of Ayamonte, Natalia Santos, welcomed their presence and said it was addition to the disinfection labours already being carried out in Ayamonte. The soldiers used a thermo-nebuliser which creates a very fine mist/fog which allows the disinfectant to reach all areas.

There has been a total of 4,978 new cases declared today and the total confirmed cases is now at 177,633. The number of deaths has now reached 18,579. The number of people who have recovered is 70,853.

Meanwhile in Andalusia there are 10,595 confirmed cases of which 5,147 have needed hospitalisation and 665 have needed intensive care. Andalusia has also found 169 cases where patients have little or no symptoms of Covid19. As of 21.00 yesterday there are 1,545 patients confirmed with Covid-19 in hospital and 343 of those are in intensive care. There have been 865 deaths (Malaga 201, Jaen 115, Granada 181, Cordoba 59, Cadiz 62, Seville 182, Almeria 38, Huelva 27). In Seville there are 2,159 cases and 982 of those required hospitalization with 136 in intensive care. There have been 182 deaths while 327 have been cured.

In Andalusia there have been a total of 865 deaths so far. A total 2,224 patients have now been declared cured.

In Huelva there are 344 cases, this being an increase of 7 new cases today, 185 have been hospitalized with 27 in intensive care. No new deaths were reported today so total remains at 27. The good news is 62 have now been declared cured.
