Ayamonte Town Hall Offical Mourning

The Spanish government have declared 10 days of official mourning for the victims of the Covid19 starting from today. And all flags on government buildings will be flown at half-mast as well as all the flags on Spanish navy ships. The government have also promised to hold a commemorative service for all the victims as soon as the situation allows.

The Junta de Andalusia has approved new measures to help the hospitality industry and has activated a ruling that will allow bars and restaurants in phase 2 to increase their capacity inside from 40 to 50% and terraces will now be allowed to stay open until 3am (previously 2am) as long as acoustic quality is maintained in populated areas. Night clubs and disco bars must remain closed for the moment.

There has been a total of 194 new cases declared today and the total confirmed cases is 236,259. The number of deaths has now reached 27,117 , which is 35 new deaths reported today.

Meanwhile in Andalusia, the number of confirmed cases is now 12,617 (+18) of which 6,245 (+12) have needed hospitalisation and 766 (0) have needed intensive care. As of 00.00 today there are 171 (-7) patients confirmed with Covid-19 in hospital and 48 (-1) of those are in intensive care.

There have been 1,406 (+14) deaths in Andalusia (Malaga 283 (+2), Jaen 180 (+1) , Granada 284 (+4), Cordoba 116 (+1) , Cadiz 158 (+5), Seville 284 (+2), Almeria 53 (+1) , Huelva 48 (+0). In Seville there are 2,452 cases and 1,205 of those required hospitalization with 149 in intensive care. There have been 284 deaths while 2,375 have recovered.

In Huelva there are 403 cases, No new cases again today, 220 have been hospitalized with 30 in intensive care. No new deaths were reported today, so total stays at 48 people. The good news is 456 have recovered from the virus.
