There has been a total of 4,946 new cases declared today and the total confirmed cases now at 24,926. The number of patients in intensive care is 1,612 and the number of deaths has now reached 1,326. The number of people who have recovered is 2,125

Meanwhile in Andalusia there are 1,515 confirmed cases of which 605 are in hospital 53 are intensive care and 972 are in quarantine and there have been 40 deaths (Malaga 20, Jaen 2, Granada 13, Cordoba 3, Seville 2). In Seville there are 245 cases with 89 of those in hospital, the remaining 154 are in quarantine in their own homes, 2 death while 1 has been cured.

In Huelva there are 37 cases, this being an increase of one new case today, 16 are in hospital and 21 are in quarantine in their own homes.

72 patients have now been sent home from hospital in Andalusia to pass the rest of their quarantine in their own homes and there is a total of 53 people in intensive care in all of Andalusia.

In Ayamonte, like everywhere else in Andalusia, the Funeral home has been closed. Wakes or Vigils are forbidden and on the death of a loved one the funeral directors will take the coffin to the funeral home and it will remain there until burial can take place.

Rapid testing kits are being delivered to all hospitals throughout Spain today and with these tests within 15 minutes the result can be obtained. Up until now the test have been taking twenty -four hours to confirm. Spain has bought 640,000 rapid tests and there are four companies in Spain who are currently manufacturing kits and it is expected that there will be a fifth company who can also start making these tests to bring the capacity of test kits to over a million within a week.
