Meanwhile in Andalusia there are 1,515 confirmed cases of which 605 are in hospital 53 are intensive care and 972 are in quarantine and there have been 40 deaths (Malaga 20, Jaen 2, Granada 13, Cordoba 3, Seville 2). Up until now the test have been taking twenty -four hours to confirm. Spain has bought 640,000 rapid tests and there are four companies in Spain who are currently manufacturing kits and it is expected that there will be a fifth company who can also start making these tests to bring the capacity of test kits to over a million within a week.
